A perfect night out in North Park, a place for Fab-Eats with a vibrant atmosphere. We ventured to one of our favorite cafés (which has amazing coffee) for dinner, Caffé Calabria. This place usually starts serving pizza at 5 pm and opens up tables to serve as half restaurant, half café. We ordered a Rubino Pizza which featured Gorgonzola, caramelized onions, basil, and speck all cooked in a unique woodfire oven that sits right in the middle of the place. We could see the flames and taste the difference! The overall experience was excellent! Perfect size for two (three slices each) great service, great atmosphere as a modernized pizzeria that also serves your coffee needs.

Heaven Sent Desserts located on the lively corner of University and 30th Ave. is a great spot for dessert and that special someone. It is a small, popular establishment that has a display case full of sweets and books for table markers. It is almost always packed, especially on the weekends.
For our Saturday Night Treats: we ordered a "Chocolate Mousse Stack," a "Red Velvet Bomb," and our personal favorite drink, a French Toast Latté. The drink was very good and complimented both desserts. They were both delicious!
